I learned astrology intensively from 1991-1995, initially just to learn about myself. I have been doing charts for other people since the late 1990’s.
I do the actual reading by phone only – communicating by written word takes too long for what I do, it works much better by voice contact (including feedback from you during the reading).
What is a birth chart?
Your birth chart is a map of the planets in the solar system, as seen from earth, at the time and location of your birth. Interpreting that map will provide you with information about you, your life, and your past and future, although not in a strictly predictive, that is to say, fated, sense, since the symbols in the chart can have multiple meanings and you also have free will to do as you please with the specific energies. The advantage of the birth chart is that you can find out what the more positive and negative ways of manifesting the energies are. Astronomy is the study of the heavens, including the study of the planets in our solar system. The birth chart is about how the energies of the planets are relevant to circumstances and events here on earth.
Can a birth chart tell you about yourself?
Your birth chart, interpreted by a competent professional, will tell you about you. The energies represented in the chart are psychological in nature and the unique combination you have in your chart will tell who you uniquely are as a person. That information can be used to confirm your thoughts about yourself, make a determination as to whether or not you are using certain energies most effectively, or even make a determination as to whether certain energies are being suppressed by the nature of your circumstances.
Can a birth chart predict the future?
Yes – in a limited, but useful, way. The energies of change that are associated with the birth chart can predict the nature of specific future circumstances, although not (in general) the specific circumstances themselves. You will find out when easy and difficult energies are coming up and what the natures of those energies are. They will manifest in specific circumstances or events that are consistent with what is going on in your life at that time.
Do you not have your birth time?
That does not prevent me from being able to serve you. A birth time is helpful, but not required. Much can be determined from the chart even of only the birth date and location are available. The reason why is that none of the symbols have only one meaning – although each of the symbols has only a very finite number of meanings. Once the symbols are in the context of a particular individual, that usually very much narrows down which meanings apply to the individual. However, a birth chart is still complicated, so it takes a competent professional to interpret it correctly.
Why can people born on the same date have such different personalities?
Even though the birth charts of people born on the same date will be similar in many respects, especially if the people were born in locations that are relatively close to each other, no two birth charts are exactly the same, even nominally. Moreover, the symbols in the chart can have more than one meaning and that meaning can vary from person to person. Also, the birth chart is not the only influence on a person. Cultural, societal, family, church, and other influences also play a role. That is why the birth chart must be interpreted in the context of the person.
Why can people born on the same date have such different life circumstances?
Even though their birth charts will be similar in many ways, especially of the people were born in locations that are relatively close to each other, the symbols can and do have somewhat different meanings from person to person and each individual is also influenced by other factors, such as national and local society, a church denomination the individual belongs to, and also other factors.

Rainer Moehring was born in Canada, but has lived most of his life in the United States. He studied astrology intensely from 1991-1995 with professional astrologers and has been doing charts for other people since the late 1990’s. Initially attracted to astrology because of what he found it could do for him, he eventually learned enough about it to be able to do it for others, as well.
